Swarovski Kristallwelten or Swarovski Crystal Worlds, Wattens presents four new glittering Chambers of Wonder, designed by Israeli artist Arik Levy, Indian designer Manish Arora, Austrian multi-media artist Andre Heller, and Mexican architect Fernando Romero. The designers have interpreted the crystal in their own unique ways, and each installation bears a resonant name — “Emotional Formation,” “Ready to Love,” “Heroes of Peace,” and “El Sol.” With exciting colors, shimmering details, and virtual encounters, these fascinating new crystal works create a mesmerizing experience.Arik Levy, known for his earlier Chamber of Wonder “Transparent Opacity” creates a new interpretation of crystalline forms in “Emotional Formation.” Levy has created an artful labyrinth where visitors discover new forms and unique perspectives. Manish Arora creates “Palace of Love,” a colorful utopia with 19 heart fairies at the core and the façade of an Indian temple dazzling in neon light. André Heller’s “Heroes of Peace” presents life-size holograms of Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Mahatma Gandhi, Albert Einstein, Martin Luther King, Rigoberta Menchú, Pablo Picasso, Bertha von Suttner, Nelson Mandela, Yoko Ono, and John Lennon. Fernando Romero’s “El Sol” explores the relationship between human beings and the Sun. Romero has used 2,880 custom-made Swarovski crystals to create a sphere, which is one-billionth the size of the center of the Solar System. The star architect takes inspiration from Aztec and Mayan pyramids for the installation that is a tribute to the cultural heritage of Mexico. The exhibition is on view at Swarovski Kristallwelten, Kristallweltenstraße 1, 6112 Wattens/Tirol, Austria. For more information, visit: https://kristallwelten.swarovski.com/Content.Node/wattens/index.en.htmlClick on the slideshow for a sneak peek at the installations.
